About the RoleWe are seeking a VP, Adoption to lead our post-sales organization and drive operational excellence in delivering complex technical implementations involving transitions from traditional CAD tools to Higharc. This role requires someone who can build scalable systems, build and run a pro services P&L, and establish world-class implementation methodologies while maintaining the speed and agility required in our fast-paced startup environment. Reporting: This role reports directly to the CEOWhat You'll DoBuild a world-class professional services business inside Higharc with scalable systems and methodologies that account for the unique challenges of construction industry technology adoption. Enable rapid growth while maintaining operational excellence. Manage as a stand-alone P&L. Oversee enterprise-grade implementations of Higharc’s web-based BIM system for production homebuilders — create the playbooks and project management norms for rapidly and predictably transitioning customers from traditional “pen and paper” processes to HigharcDevelop high-performing teams including second level managers, implementation leads, specialists, and trainers. Drive accountability through clear KPIs, measurable ROI, SOPs, and cross-training programs. Advocate for the use of AI, automation, and non-conventional approaches to continually improve processes & reduce adoption time. Lead strategy and growth for adoption, running experiments with consulting, training, and managed services offerings (eg. drafting and design); help builders ship more homes, faster, with less wasteCollaborate closely with product managers to represent the voice of the customer in product strategy and development, ensuring user needs are translated into feature requirements that drive customer success. Develop comprehensive training and adoption programs that ensure customers can fully leverage Higharc's advanced capabilities including AI and automationWhat You'll BringCore Experience10+ years leading complex technical implementations in BIM, AEC software, construction technology, or similarly disruptive enterprise platformsProven P&L management experience with accountability for business unit profitability, resource optimization, and scalable growthProfessional services leadership with demonstrated success building consulting, training, and managed services organizationsTrack record in startup or high-growth environments where you've driven significant operational transformation under pressureExperience managing distributed teams composed of 40+ employees based across the US and abroadTechnical & Industry ExpertiseDeep understanding of AEC workflows and the challenges of migrating from legacy systems (CAD, manual processes) to modern platformsExperience with disruptive technology adoption in traditional industries, particularly construction, manufacturing, or engineeringKnowledge of BIM implementations, integrations, and the technical complexities of construction software deploymentsUnderstanding of homebuilding operations and production builder workflows preferredLeadership & Business AcumenExceptional change management skills with experience leading teams through significant operational and cultural transformationStrong business discipline with ability to drive efficiency improvements, cost optimization, and process standardizationData-driven leadership approach with experience establishing metrics, dashboards, and performance management systemsExecutive presence and communication with ability to present to C-suite stakeholders and manage complex client relationshipsInnovation & Problem-Solving ExcellenceDrive process innovation with demonstrated ability to optimize workflows for improved efficiency and scalabilityApply systems thinking to complex operational challenges and implementation designBalance startup agility with enterprise-grade execution standards and quality deliveryFocus relentlessly on customer outcomes and measurable business impactHigharc has been remote first since our founding in 2018.
