About the Role: Commercial Lines Account Manager - Small Business Unit We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Small Business Unit team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving our mission to deliver exceptional client management and retention. Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Effectively manage a high-volume book of insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on time. Relationship Building: Grow client loyalty by building positive relationships, providing high levels of advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication. Policy Administration: Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction. Market Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of markets and their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting and procedures. Application Review: Review all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy and completeness. Renewal Management: Coordinate expiration lists with department managers to obtain renewal business information and ensure seamless transitions. Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience: Minimum of three years of commercial account management experience required. Licenses and Certifications: Property & Casualty License required. 2-20 license required for Florida residents. Technical Skills: Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with agency management software, such as Applied/Epic, is preferred. Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members. Self-motivated and driven with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication, including active listening and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and use discretion when handling sensitive information. Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
