As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to lenders, banking/mortgage institutions, and consumers, answering questions and providing important information about HUD FHA and reverse mortgages. Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative II - Mortgage Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to lenders, banking/mortgage institutions, and consumers, answering questions and providing important information about HUD FHA and reverse mortgages. This is a full-time opportunity with a shift of 10am - 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. The salary for this position is competitive, and you will be eligible for paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative II - Mortgage Professional, your key responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate and timely information about HUD FHA and reverse mortgages. Analyzing and solving problems: Troubleshoot customer issues and provide effective solutions. Managing time effectively: Prioritize tasks and manage time to meet productivity and customer service standards. Maintaining accurate records: Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation. Collaborating with team members: Work with other team members to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer service. Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have: Essential Qualifications: Minimum of two years of FHA loan origination experience: This can include experience as a loan processor, underwriter, or loan officer, plus an additional year of customer service or contact center experience. Or at least three years of loan origination experience: This can include experience working with conventional loans and/or other government-backed loans (FHA, USDA, VA). Two - four years of college or equivalent work experience: We are looking for candidates with a strong educational background or equivalent work experience. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service. Basic PC skills: You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with customer relationship management applications. Effective written and verbal communication: You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and in person. Ability to analyze and solve problems: You must be able to troubleshoot customer issues and provide effective solutions. Ability to manage time effectively: You must be able to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet productivity and customer service standards. Ability to type 35 words per minute: You must be able to type accurately and efficiently. The ability to work an 8-hour shift: You must be able to work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 8pm Eastern Time, based on business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Mortgage origination experience: We prefer candidates with experience in mortgage origination, particularly with government-backed loans.
