About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team in a remote data entry position. As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. Your expertise will help us further develop our quality control processes, ensuring that we maintain low costs, modernize our operations, and improve compliance, ultimately giving us a competitive edge in the industry. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team. Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors. Guarantee that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, statistics, or a related field. Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and data-driven decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications would be an asset: Experience in a related field, such as quality control, operations, or maintenance. Previous internship, capstone project, or research experience in data analysis or a related field. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Experience with data mining, data warehousing, or business intelligence tools. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
