Key Responsibilities Build rapport and establish trusting relationships with members, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to share their concerns and work towards their goals Conduct detailed clinical assessments, including initial and follow-up assessments, to inform the development of personalized treatment plans Develop and implement person-centered therapeutic treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each member Monitor, evaluate, and support members' progression towards their identified goals, providing ongoing feedback and guidance to ensure optimal outcomes Facilitate group therapy sessions, promoting a sense of community and social connection among members Participate in multi-disciplinary team planning sessions to ensure comprehensive patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals Engage in ongoing training and supervision meetings to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field Document all patient-related care and encounters in the patient electronic record in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your expertise as a therapist. The following requirements are essential: Masters in Social Work or Doctoral Degree in Psychology: A graduate degree in a relevant field is required, with a strong foundation in clinical theory and practice Clinical license to practice in the state of New York: You must be licensed to practice in New York, with bonus points if you are also licensed in FL, TX, and/or NC 2+ years of experience working in the field of eating disorders: Experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders is essential, with a deep understanding of the complex issues and challenges that arise in this population 2+ years of experience working with families & adolescents: You should have experience working with families and adolescents, with a strong ability to engage and support these populations Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication: Excellent communication skills are critical, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, families, and other healthcare professionals Experience working with electronic health records: Familiarity with electronic health records is required, with the ability to accurately and efficiently document patient care and encounters Experience working with diverse communities: You should have experience working with diverse communities, including individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds Empathy, humility, and alignment with our mission and core values: A strong sense of empathy and humility is essential, with a deep commitment to our mission and core values Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Interest in participating in speaking engagements and/or research: A passion for sharing your expertise and contributing to the field through speaking engagements and/or research is a plus Experience with a vast array of therapeutic treatment modalities: Familiarity with a range of therapeutic approaches and modalities is desirable, with a willingness to adapt and evolve your practice to meet the needs of our members Credentials with Aetna, Cigna, and other insurance networks: Credentials with major insurance networks are a plus, with the ability to provide services to a diverse range of members Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong clinical skills: A strong foundation in clinical theory and practice, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions Excellent communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with members, families, and other healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing Empathy and compassion: A strong sense of empathy and compassion, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with members Cultural competence: A deep understanding of the complex issues and challenges that arise in diverse communities, with the ability to adapt your practice to meet the unique needs of our members Ability to work independently and as part of a team: The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to supporting the ongoing growth and development of our therapists.
