We are currently seeking a dedicated L3 Project Engineer resource in the MSP space to support our end-to-end project delivery. The L3 Project Engineer will report to the Project Managers Team. As a client-centred delivery role, you will work closely with the projects team, technical team, and service desk to deliver quality, timely, and sophisticated project outcomes. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering projects and executing approved statements of work:Collaborate with project managers to understand their project delivery requirements, business needs, and objectivesCo-ordinate IT infrastructure projects, ensuring project objectives and deadlines are metMaintain project documentation, track progress, and prepare status reportsCo-ordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and distribute meeting notesFacilitate communication between internal stakeholders (not external), ensuring project requirements are clearly understoodMonitor project timelines, identify potential risks, and assist in developing mitigation strategiesWork with engineers and the project manager on day-to-day project activities and tasks to ensure smooth project executionSkilfully manage projects from start to finish, both independently and as part of a teamProvide advanced technical assistance and troubleshooting for technical support escalationsOffer expert insights on current and emerging technologies to inform client technology strategiesShare specialised product knowledge with the wider team:Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with team membersEnsure compliance with best practices and industry standardsTo be successful in this role, you will have: Technical / Tools / SoftwareExperience in Cloud platforms is a must: Azure, Microsoft suiteFamiliarity with cybersecurity best practicesStrong SQL knowledge idealFully abreast of all the Microsoft applications (certifications would be a plus/need, Azure, MS)Autotask: ticketing systemDatto RMMExperience / BackgroundMinimum of 5+ years of experience in a managed services provider environment or an IT provider working with multiple customersEducation in relevant IT course(s) / certifications are a definite advantageConfident and experienced working with Azure, M365, Azure AD and private cloud solutionsProven track record/experience in leading or supporting cloud-based solutions including new, transitional and hybrid integrationsProven knowledge and experience in Windows and Microsoft-based solutionsCan demonstrate full understanding about the role and the accountability that goes with the positionMotivated with the desire to do the job well; proactive and can take full accountabilityDeliver the highest standard of customer service, so that each client feels that they are a high prioritySoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detailStrong problem-solving skills; ability to think outside the boxInquisitive, Fast Learner, Independent Performer: Quickly grasp new concepts and excel with minimal oversightAbility to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentSomeone that strives to get things completeSelf-starter and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a teamBy applying for this role, your contact details will be securely stored in our candidate database.
