Job Summary We are seeking an experienced BriteCore Integration Architect to join our dynamic team. As a BriteCore Integration Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving our migration to the BriteCore platform. You will work closely with the technical team within BriteCore to improve existing APIs, develop new APIs, and integrate BriteCore into our streaming event architecture. This role is essential as Porch continues to expand its innovative approach in the homeowner’s insurance sector, focusing on superior services and advanced underwriting techniques. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with BriteCore to improve existing APIs and create new API requests Develop and enhance event infrastructure (content and architecture) Facilitate integrations (internal and third-party systems) Manage ELT/ETL processes from BriteCore to the data warehouse Conduct data mapping from existing systems to BriteCore Lead hands-on migration efforts using BriteCore APIs Perform API and integration testing Conduct gap analysis to identify and address system deficiencies Act as a technical lead and mentor for the integration team Provide technical guidance and support for ongoing projects Create and maintain technical documentation Report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance in an engineering capacity (homeowners, condo, renter, dwelling fire) 2+ years of hands-on experience with BriteCore and its APIs (policy, claims, billing, payments, contacts) 1-2 years of BriteCore system administration experience Proficiency in API development and integration Strong understanding of ELT/ETL processes Experience with data mapping and migration strategies Knowledge of event-driven architecture and third-party integrations Proven experience working with US-based business teams Excellent written and communication skills in the English language Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with other policy administration systems Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Porch Group, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
