As a Services Sales Lead on Ridgeline’s Customer Experience (CX) team, you will be responsible for driving the services component of our sales process, helping scope, price, and position implementation strategies that align with our customers’ goals and Ridgeline’s vision. You’ll work closely with Business Development, Product, and Alliances to deliver seamless transitions from sales to implementation. In this pivotal role, you will shape discovery sessions, influence strategic deals, and champion our value-driven deployment methodology. You'll leverage cutting-edge technologies—including AI tools like ChatGPT—to enhance customer interactions and optimize services delivery. What will you do? Understand competitive positioning and customer requirements to articulate the value of Ridgeline’s deployment methodology and CX serviceCollaborate with Solutions Consultants and Sales teams to support deal closure by solving strategic implementation challengesAct as a strategic advocate for Ridgeline’s Customer Experience offerings throughout the sales and post-sale lifecyclePartner with legal, finance, and product teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and service delivery commitmentsDeliver Customer Experience presentations and facilitate engagement sessions with prospective clientsCommunicate technical and functional aspects of Ridgeline’s services—including integrations and data migrations—throughout the sales cycleScope project requirements and timelines during discovery sessions, pricing implementations to ensure alignment with services margin goalsPropose tailored implementation timelines and resource plans in partnership with Sales and AllianceCoordinate with partner firms when third-party services are required to support implementationCollaborate with Customer Success to support upsell opportunities for services and outsourced operational offeringsContribute to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with service-specific responsesNegotiate and finalize services agreements, including Statements of Work and contractual termsEnsure smooth handoff to Consulting teams by supporting staffing, planning, and knowledge transfer activities Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility for service delivery capacitySupport service-related events, including Ridgeline’s annual customer conferenceContribute to the development and implementation of processes to improve cross-functional collaboration and services sales efficiencyDesired Skills And Experience7+ years of experience in business development, services sales, or a related role in financial services or asset management5+ years of executive-level relationship management and sales experienceStrong track record negotiating service contracts and Statements of WorkDemonstrated experience presenting SaaS solutions to both technical and business audiencesFamiliarity with consultative and value-based selling methodologiesStrong industry acumen in asset management or financial servicesExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skillsProven ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partnersSelf-starter with strong time management and organizational skillsAbility to travel up to 50%BonusKnowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycleFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, serverless architecture, and APIsInsight into asset management trends and the competitive landscapeAbout RidgelineRidgeline is the industry cloud platform for investment management. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
