This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our digital communications and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies, cryptography, and security protocols, along with a proven track record of implementing and managing PKI solutions in a large corporate environment. Position Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage PKI solutions to support secure communications and data protection across the organizationDevelop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to PKI operations, including certificate lifecycle managementMonitor and troubleshoot PKI systems to ensure high availability and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI solutions into existing systems and applicationsConduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses related to PKI and cryptographic systemsProvide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding PKI best practices and security measuresStay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to PKI and cybersecurityDrive our PKI automation strategy with continual improvements in our security postureKeep abreast of industry changes that alter or impact our PKI infrastructure or processesAssist in training and mentoring junior staff on PKI concepts and practicesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in PKI management and implementation3+ years of experience with PKI tools and technologies (Microsoft Certificate Services, Open Secure Sockets Layer (OpenSSL), or related)3+ years of experience with cryptographic protocols, certificate authorities, registration authorities, and key management practicesExperience with security frameworks and standards including the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001Experience with detailing tasks, setting and achieving on-time delivery dates, coordinating the efforts of other teams, communicating effectively to all participants, and driving projects to completionWilling to work and support off-hour rotationPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higherCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Experience working cross-functionally with all levels from individual contributor to executesExperience with Axway Validation AuthorityExperience with code-signing, Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) certificatesExperience with JavaBeans Certificate Authority (EJBCA)Experience with Hardware Security Module (HSM) such as Entrust nCipherExperience withF5Experience with Internet Information Service (IIS) and ApacheExperience with Intercede MyIDExperience with KeyFactor CommandExperience with Microsoft Certification AuthoritiesExperience with Experience with PowerShell, Python, and SplunkDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
