Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing software team. You will work to design and build scalable, high-performance software. You Will: Work with modern, well tested software with limited technical debtDevelop high-performance, scalable systems using React, TypeScript, Python, PostgresCollaborate with internal teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeParticipate in code reviews and mentor junior engineersImprove the development process through the use of best practices and new technologies You Have: 5+ years of experience in software developmentExperience with React, TypeScript, Node.js and/or Python, Kubernetes, and AWSExperience building scalable, high-performance systemsExperience with system design principles and best practicesA passion for testingTeam lead or other leadership experienceBachelor's degreeMust be U. S. Our HQ, chemistry lab, and hardware space is in Marlborough, MA (about 30 minutes west of Boston) and you’re welcome to grab a desk there. The science team is onsite daily, while the product team is remote. You’ll be expected to travel to company events (usually in New England) once or twice a year plus conferences with the commercial team. We’re committed to building a remote-first design team that gets together when we need to. We’re built on Slack, Figma, GitHub, and Google workspace.
