About the Role We're seeking an exceptional AI engineer to join our Cloud Advancements Application Stage (AP) team. As a key member of this team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing our AI strategy to take our developer experience platform to the next level. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, applying algorithms to large-scale data sets and driving innovation in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Key Responsibilities Design and implement AI-powered solutions to enhance our developer experience platform, focusing on machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including AI engineers, computer programmers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end AI-enabled solutions Develop and deploy large-scale machine learning models, working with distributed stores like S3, Flash, and Vector Data Set Ensure data quality by analyzing, modeling, and handling missing values, outliers, and model performance Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and DL, applying this knowledge to drive innovation in our products and services Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, presenting results in a clear and concise manner Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred) 5+ years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing Proficiency in quantitative programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and experience with distributed stores like S3, Flash, and Vector Data Set Strong understanding of transformer design, vector embeddings, and applying models to solve business problems Experience with model deployment for experimentation and production Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights Preferred Qualifications Experience applying ML techniques in developer efficiency Familiarity with Generative AI-based developer experience platforms Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure Experience with containerization using Docker What We Offer At Apple, we're committed to providing our employees with a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
