Responsibilities Lead and Coordinate Federal Government Hiring Process: Oversee all aspects of the hiring process, from job posting to candidate selection, to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for both our company and candidates. Craft Engaging Job Descriptions: Develop compelling job descriptions, requirements, and objectives that attract top talent and showcase our company's unique culture and values. Scout Potential Hires: Utilize various platforms, including LinkedIn and social media, to identify and connect with potential candidates who match our company's needs. Reach Out to Potential Candidates: Build relationships with potential candidates through phone and email, keeping them informed about exciting job opportunities and company news. Build and Nurture a Network of Contacts: Develop a network of contacts and potential candidates to tap into whenever needed, ensuring a steady supply of top talent for our open positions. Write Captivating Ads: Create engaging ads to showcase our open positions and attract the best candidates. Conduct Interviews: Conduct interviews in various formats, including in-person, video, and phone, to find the perfect match for our company's needs. Represent Our Company: Attend Veteran job fairs and networking events to expand our candidate pool and promote our company's brand. Track Key Performance Indicators: Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on the success of our hiring efforts. Qualifications We're looking for a skilled and experienced Federal Contracts Recruiter who possesses the following qualifications: Previous Experience in Recruitment: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, hiring, or a related field, with a proven track record of success. Familiarity with Different Interview Techniques: Knowledge of various interview techniques, including behavioral and technical interviews. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders. Ability to Juggle Multiple Tasks: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Databases: Familiarity with ATS and HR databases, including resume screening and candidate management. Negotiation and Persuasion Skills: A knack for negotiation and persuasion, with the ability to influence candidates and stakeholders. Familiarity with Labor Laws and Regulations: Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity laws and affirmative action requirements.
