This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enabling Classified Cloud Platforms at Boeing, ensuring that our systems meet the highest security standards. Position Responsibilities:Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure tailored for classified environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including security, engineering, and operations to ensure cloud solutions meet stringent security and compliance standardsLead the development and implementation of cloud migration strategies for classified workloadsDevelop and enforce cloud governance policies, security controls, and best practices aligned with government and industry standardsProvide technical leadership and guidance on cloud security architecture, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and threat detectionConduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats in cloud environmentsSupport continuous monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery planning for classified cloud systemsStay current with emerging cloud technologies, security trends, and regulatory requirements affecting classified cloud deploymentsPrepare and present technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and security compliance reports to stakeholdersMentor and train team members on cloud architecture and security best practicesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher5+ years of experience architecting and deploying cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure5+ years of experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Department of Defense Security Requirements Guide (DoD SRG), and Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs)5+ years of experience working with the Azure cloud platform and infrastructure as code (e.g., Bicep or ARM)5+ years of experience with Policy-as-Code (Azure Policy, OPA/Gatekeeper, Rego, or equivalent)5+ years of experience with Azure services including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy5+ years of experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain within 2 months of start dateAzure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalentExperience in classified government or defense environmentsExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Experience with Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) practices and toolsExperience with automation and scripting languages such as Python or AnsibleExperience with cloud incident response and forensic investigationsExperience understanding hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premise systemsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
