Job Overview As a Data Entry Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and contributing to innovative GIS projects. You will collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions, ensuring that your work has a direct impact on the success of our clients. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity Produce high-quality maps and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to understand their needs and develop solutions Contribute to innovative GIS projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive success Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, meeting deadlines and productivity standards Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and procedures Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or a related field 2 years of relevant experience in data entry, GIS, or a related field Proficiency with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online Strong cartographic design and geospatial analysis skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working with GIS software and data management systems Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At TalentBurst, Inc., we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
