Job Summary: In collaboration with the Director of Community College Partnership Development, Purdue Global is seeking an innovative Manager of Transfer Student Support. As part of this new and exciting role, the Transfer Student Support Manager works to engage and build relationships with the Ivy Tech teams and drives the development of new academic pathways. This role facilitates the development of marketing and communication efforts to drive enrollments and looks for opportunities to collaborate with Purdue Global and Ivy Tech departments to promote and facilitate student support and services that increase and align with industry in the state of Indiana. Successful candidates in this role must reside in Indiana or within a commutable distance. This role is approximately 70% work from home and 30% travel within the state of Indiana. What to expect in this role: Enrollment Management and Transfer Student Support: • Under the guidance of the director, engage with Purdue Global and Ivy Tech leadership, faculty, staff, students, and vendors to ensure a seamless enrollment and transitional experience • In partnership with the deans and the Center for Prior Learning Recognition, create, support, and coordinate programs and degree pathways between Purdue Global and Ivy Tech. • In collaboration with Purdue Global and Ivy Tech student support teams, provide support for academic advising, student engagement, and career services initiatives for prospective and new Ivy Tech transfer students. • Contribute to and create partnerships to enhance Indiana's industry alignment with Ivy Tech and Purdue Global programs. • Manage, distribute, and improve enrollment and retention reports to drive continuous improvement. Create internal reports and external reports to be shared with Ivy Tech. • Complete other projects related to new partnership initiatives Marketing and Communications: • Facilitate the development of publications including newsletters, emails, websites, and other marketing tools • Facilitate enrollment management CRM marketing strategies for prospective Ivy Tech students • Develop and maintain a communication cadence between institutions to include changes and updates relevant to the recruitment and support of Ivy Tech transfer students • Track efforts and share with all stakeholders Relationship Development and Management: • Establish relationships with key departments (admissions, advising, CCEC, etc.) and positions at Ivy Tech and Purdue Global • As appropriate, participate in and present at Ivy Tech and Purdue Global academic advising and admissions meetings and training sessions • Identify opportunities for Purdue Global representation at Ivy Tech events (virtual and in person) • Research and explore ways to implement opportunities that support the needs of adult learners and the regional IN workforce • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of Purdue Global and Ivy Tech programs, courses, curricula, policies, contacts, and partnerships Experience: • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred • 4 or more years of experience in admissions or academic advising with community college/university students or related experience • Experience in admissions or academic advising with Ivy Tech community college students preferred • Experience working with diverse student populations preferred What we're looking for: • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities, provide organized project updates, and meet deadlines with quality work • Conversant in academic advising, curriculum development, policy, and the unique development of transfer pathways that support adult students and Indiana workforce needs • Ability to develop and grow strong cross-organizational relationships and leverage positive persistence to advance partnership needs • Experience in working in a remote environment and/or with remote students and colleges • Experience with Salesforce, the Google Workspace (including Google Sites), spreadsheets, creating reports, event coordination, social media, Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, project management, experience with student records systems and learning management platforms (Canvas, Brightspace), and various video conferencing platforms • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail and inclusive language • Ability to research 'outside of the box' partnership opportunities • A positive and organized team player who has a passion for adult student transfer success • Someone who enjoys reviewing and updating the continued changes with programs, curriculum, policies, and procedures for multiple institutions and programs • Experience with mapping curricula between community colleges and universities • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. • Resides in Indiana or the vicinity with the ability to occasionally work evenings and travel within the state of Indiana (up to 30%) Additional Information: • Successful candidates in this role must reside in Indiana or within a commutable distance.
