Job Summary We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. As a full-time employee, you will work in a remote/hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work from home or our office in Waterloo, IA. You'll be part of a dynamic team, reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience, and will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service via inbound phone calls. Key Responsibilities: Build strong customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with customers and Sales team members daily to resolve queries, address concerns, and provide product information. Utilize computer software and multiple computer programs to manage customer interactions, resolve issues, and complete tasks efficiently. Resolve customer challenges by using all available resources, including account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management. Address pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credits, and implement return procedures as needed. Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure seamless customer service and identify areas for improvement. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment. Ability to commute to our facility from your home and a secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity. Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs simultaneously. Stable internet connection with upload speeds greater than 5 megabits per second, download speeds greater than 15 megabits per second, and ping less than 80 milliseconds. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Certification in customer service or a related field.
