As the Director of Business Consulting, you'll work closely with our sales and strategy leadership teams to pioneer a new function that drives new business initiatives and identifies expansion opportunities with our existing clientele. Key Responsibilities Provide Value-Driven Selling Expertise: Support our Sales and Go-To-Market teams with your expertise in value-driven selling, ensuring that our clients receive the maximum value from our solutions. Shape Pre- and Post-Sales Activities: Identify and account for all relevant pre- and post-sales activities and processes, shaping the program's interactions and influences to drive business growth. Develop Value Selling Tools and Initiatives: Create and maintain value selling tools, processes, and initiatives that can be utilized across sales, alliances, and marketing divisions to drive consistency and excellence. Collaborate with Post-Sales Teams: Work closely with post-sales teams to integrate validated customer outcomes into business and executive reviews, ensuring that our clients' success stories are heard and valued. Capture and Disseminate Customer Outcomes: Implement processes for capturing, packaging, and disseminating customer-validated outcomes to internal sales teams, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and drive sales growth. Inform Marketing Campaigns with Customer Insights: Offer customer behavior analysis data to bolster the creation, execution, and success of retention, churn, and cross-sell marketing campaigns, ensuring that our marketing efforts are targeted and effective. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 5+ Years of Professional Experience: Preferably in value consulting, IT leadership, analytics, finance, or sales/pre-sales capacities, with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering value to clients. Understanding of SaaS Software Deal Dynamics: A deep understanding of the SaaS industry and the dynamics of software deals, with the strategic thinking to drive software opportunities forward. Ability to Craft Impactful Business Cases: The ability to craft compelling business cases through storytelling and visual design elements, making complex data accessible and actionable. Self-Starter Mentality: A self-starter mentality, with creativity, high energy, and comfort with the rapid pace of change inherent in a growing SaaS company. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience in Consulting or Sales Leadership: Experience in consulting or sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth and leading high-performing teams.
