As a Senior Data Entry Specialist at Wayfair, you will play a critical role in supporting our Hunt and Suggestions Examination team in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to inform our product recommendations. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Senior Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to inform our product recommendations. You will work closely with our Hunt and Suggestions Examination team to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities * Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities * Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestions algorithms * Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve * Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive * Collaborate closely and build effective relationships with our product, design, and AI partners * Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science) * Strong experience with SQL (including query optimization, stored procedures, data modeling, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flask, etc.) * Proficiency in Python and Python libraries (Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.) * Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive attitude Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with AI algorithms and methods (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) in a business setting * Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools * Strong business acumen, scientific skills, and technical abilities, with critical thinking skills What We Offer * Competitive hourly rate of $24/hour * Opportunity to work with a leading e-commerce company in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Collaborative and supportive team culture * Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off How to Apply If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and entry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
