As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all regulations and directives pertaining to the conduct of the flight, including Western Global Airlines' approved/accepted manuals, Operations Specifications, 14 CFRs, FAA Orders, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, Directives, and Manufacturer's recommendations. Comply with all administrative programs, including airport/route qualification, flight time limitations, currency requirements (e.g., physicals, takeoffs and landings, home study courses, etc.), pilot flight equipment, uniform discipline, manuals, policies and procedures, and others, as assigned. Act as Second-in-Command of the flight, supporting the Captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Participate in pre-flight planning, preparation, and briefing, as well as post-flight debriefing and reporting. Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among crew members. Education and Technical Requirements To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: Hold a current and valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Hold a valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate. Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. Meet ICAO English Language Proficiency Level IV. Have a minimum of 2500 hours of total flying experience. Have no history of accidents or incidents. Hold a valid US passport allowing unrestricted international travel due to military contract requirements. Previous part 121 airline or aviation experience is preferred. Preferred / Ideal Skills While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: College degree in Aviation or a related field. Previous B747-400 or Boeing aircraft type rating or MD-11 or Airbus aircraft type rating. 1000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations. Up to 500 hours of military flight time as pilot in command (PIC) of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing airplane, which can count towards the 1,000-hour requirement. A PIC in operations under either § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or any combination of these.
