Job Summary As a Pharmacist at Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving patient health outcomes, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will work remotely and be required to perform various tasks, including: Conducting direct patient care programs, such as medication therapy management, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical programs Driving the execution of multiple business strategies and projects to ensure business needs are met Ensuring compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services Driving local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals Providing expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leaders Key Responsibilities As a Pharmacist at Walgreens, your key responsibilities will include: Executing patient intervention pharmacy programs to drive patient health outcomes and financial performance Conducting data and clinical reviews to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications Reviewing medication records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication therapy Providing individualized patient/supplier consultation Building trust with patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns Providing feedback on the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program Responding to inquiries, transfers, and issues related to patient care Providing clinical consultation and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans on a case-by-case basis Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements and qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field Current pharmacist license as allowed by the relevant state licensing authority Experience working with confidential data Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and fulfilling time constraints of multiple tasks with varying completion dates Experience creating approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete targets, and determining when escalation of issues is necessary Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications: Ability to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary Knowledge of insurance plans Knowledge of PC operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including opening a workbook, inserting a line, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save capabilities, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a section, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or printing worksheets Basic level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including inserting, modifying, storing, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, focusing, and altering text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving items, printing frame view, and running a slide show Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word, including opening a document, cutting, pasting, and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing borders and paragraph width, formatting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print capabilities What We Offer As a valued member of the Walgreens team, you will enjoy a range of benefits and perks, including: Competitive hourly rate of $25/hour Part-time and full-time opportunities available Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive training and support Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced Pharmacist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
