Essential Duties and FunctionsSupports the preparation and review of the Allocation worksheet. Prices DME, facility & medical procedures and surgeries and prescription medications. Analyze and interpret Allocation worksheet to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures and services. Apply appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and fee schedules based on coding guidelines. Enters the appropriate medical procedure code, NDC prescription drug code and price in the Case Management System. Strictly adhere to company confidentiality policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive information at all times. Any other duties as may be assigned. Qualifications/ RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required QualificationsCPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and a working knowledge of NDC codes – minimum 2 years of experienceWorkers’ Compensation or Liability experience working with multiple jurisdictionsWorking knowledge of the Medicare system, remittance and reimbursement policiesStrong knowledge of anatomy/physiologyStrong mathematics skillsStrong excel skills Preferred QualificationsExperience coding Orthopedic and Pain Management procedures and surgeriesPreferred Certificates or LicensesCertified Professional CoderThe base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. This pay range provided is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, acquired certifications/ degrees, geography, merit and/or budget for the role. The position is also eligible for monthly bonuses on top of the base salary, depending on production. Pay Range21.65 - 26.45 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
