As an EPSDT Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating, implementing, and coordinating the EPSDT Member Outreach Program and ensuring compliance with immunization and EPSDT examinations. Job Summary The EPSDT Coordinator will serve as the health plan resource for EPSDT/Well Child Program and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of the EPSDT program. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements and NCQA standards. This role offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and the flexibility to work remotely from New Mexico. Key Responsibilities Identify and facilitate assistance for member needs specific to maternal/child health and EPSDT: Collaborate with healthcare providers and members to identify and address gaps in care, and provide educational resources to support healthy outcomes. Create and present quarterly executive summaries on performance data: Analyze and present data on EPSDT performance metrics, including CMS Form 416 EPSDT reports, to stakeholders and leadership. Provide culturally competent educational resources: Develop and deliver educational resources to healthcare providers and staff on EPSDT and related Population Health initiatives. Educate healthcare providers: Provide education and support to healthcare providers on clinical measures and EPSDT requirements, both in-person and through electronic communication channels. Maintain policies and procedures: Develop, update, and maintain policies and procedures related to EPSDT, as well as work plans and performance metrics. Participate in Performance Improvement Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on performance improvement projects and campaigns to drive quality improvement and compliance. Requirements Essential Qualifications 3+ years of clinical experience: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on maternal/child health and pediatric care. 2+ years of experience within the child and pediatric population: Experience working with children and pediatric populations, including well-child visits and EPSDT screenings. 1+ year of experience with MS Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience presenting to others: Ability to effectively communicate and present data to stakeholders and leadership. Proven ability to create spreadsheets in Excel: Skilled in creating and managing spreadsheets to track and analyze data. Willing or ability to travel locally up to 25% of the time: Ability to travel locally to meet with members and providers, as needed. Reliable transportation and ability to travel: Reliable transportation and ability to travel to meet with members and providers. Currently reside in New Mexico: Must currently reside in New Mexico to work remotely. Preferred Qualifications BSN: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field. Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure: Current, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of New Mexico or a compact license allowing practice in New Mexico. Pediatric nursing experience: Experience working in pediatric nursing, including well-child visits and EPSDT screenings. Experience with wellness quality metrics: Experience working with wellness quality metrics related to childhood health screenings. Experience working with provider offices: Experience working with healthcare providers and their offices to improve compliance with screenings and EPSDT requirements. Clinical nursing experience in managed care environment: Experience working in a managed care environment, including experience with Medicaid/Medicare populations. Experience working with EPSDT: Experience working with EPSDT programs, including knowledge of state and federal requirements. Proven comfort with reading and writing reports: Ability to read and write reports, analyze data, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
