Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Customer Testing Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing large-scale customer-level trials and in-market tests to determine the business impact of our most critical initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Impact and support our biggest key initiatives - You will provide guidance and expertise to help business partners in how to effectively measure and validate our most critical business hypotheses; You will support the full range of testing across the business, from ideation and exploratory data analysis through to estimation of sales and conversion lift for drives at scale. Collaborate to develop cross-functional learning plans - You will work with innovation, operations, marketing, and external partners to develop comprehensive learning plans, aligning program objectives to specific and quantifiable partner, customer, and business insights. Convey complex analytical insights - You will develop fit-for-purpose test versus control models and other illustrative and inferential analysis to determine the causal effect on sales, conversions, margin, or loyalty from specific interventions and inform go/no-go decisions. Lead data preparation of complex datasets and ensure accurate analysis setup - You will be responsible for the extraction, cleaning, and blending of a wide range of data sets like customer, conditional, and clickstream data; To ensure accurate trial setup, you will collaborate across functional boundaries and navigate the intricacies of our technology stack and integrations with external partners. Create compelling stories supported by data - You will work under consultative or self-started leadership to deliver key insights and stories to inform testing recommendations; You will present these stories both verbally and visually to varying degrees of business partners, up to and including senior leadership. Lead and evangelize the analytical approach - You will be a role model for trial planning and estimation, developing and disseminating best practices across your business partners. Requirements We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced data scientist with a strong background in quantitative analysis and a passion for driving business growth through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have: Essential Qualifications Four-year degree with quantitative emphasis. Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing Research, or related field. 3+ years' experience in data analysis or related field Strong data querying skills (SQL) and high-level proficiency in R or Python Experience handling data at scale through tools like Hadoop (PySpark, SparkR, Scala, or Java) or other sources to produce business insights. Capability with data visualization and data storytelling (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Tableau). Strong knowledge of A/B testing and inferential statistics (test size assurance/power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.). Some experience in event labeling for web and mobile applications, using tools like Google Analytics, mParticle, and similar platforms to collect and analyze clickstream data accurately. Preferred Qualifications Solid collaboration impulses - want and ability to work with partners to achieve the best outcome for the business. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. The job requires effective communication with colleagues, partners, and leaders from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive tasks and competing priorities simultaneously to drive projects to completion with minimal direction and high regard for details. Knowledge of industry-standard A/B testing tools and technologies, such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, Apptimize, and so on, or Well-suited/Mastercard Test and Learn software strongly preferred.
