Senior React Native SDK Engineer

Stream is looking for a Senior React Native SDK Engineer to join one of our SDK teams. This is a full-time job, either in our Amsterdam office (hybrid) or remote if currently based in an EU country. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are possible. What will you work onYou’ll join our React Native efforts around our Video, Chat, and Feeds SDKs. This will be an opportunity to learn from experienced and talented engineers and work on a product that impacts more than 1 billion end-users. You will have the opportunity to also collaborate with the other SDK teams (native mobile, Flutter, React), the backend API, Design, and Devrel teams. Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance existing React Native SDKsIntegrating new features from our roadmap (Chat, Video, Feeds)Work across multiple teams to provide technical insight on product and feature developmentBe present in collaborations with backend teams to ensure feature parity across SDKsAssist with implementation, GitHub issues, and open-source contributionsSupporting existing clients and prospects through various channelsImproving SDK documentation, tutorials, and other technical documentationTake care of our low-level JavaScript SDKs that allow our customers to integrate with their framework of choiceWhat makes this job exciting? You have:5+ years of experience as a software engineer working with React NativeProficiency in English (able to conduct technical and non-technical conversations)Experience with one of the following: React Native, React/Angular, Android/ iOS, Flutter and (or similar)Professional experience with TypeScript, Node, ExpoComputer Science fundamentalsExperience with REST API integrationsExperience with Testing and CI/CDA keen eye for UX detailBonus pointsPrevious experience building software libraries for other developersExperience with OpenAPI / gRPC / protobufGood understanding of reactive systems such as RxJS or other state management librariesWebRTC experienceBuild applications on top of databases (eg.
