The Role: ForgeRock 7.x Engineer We're looking for a seasoned ForgeRock 7.x Engineer to drive our identity and access management initiatives forward. As a 7.x Specialist, you'll leverage your expertise in ForgeRock's latest version to enhance our security framework, develop sophisticated MFA methods, and collaborate with senior engineers to create comprehensive Run/Playbooks. This remote, US-based position requires a strong foundation in modern authentication methods, including biometrics and MFA, as well as a deep understanding of authorization protocols like PKCE. Key Responsibilities ForgeRock 7.x Mastery: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of ForgeRock 7.x's features and advanced capabilities to enhance our security framework. You'll work with the latest version, addressing the specific needs of our environment. MFA Development & Integration: Develop and integrate sophisticated MFA methods using ForgeRock 7.x, including biometric authentication and traditional solutions like SMS, Voice, and Email. Your expertise in biometric technologies within ForgeRock 7.x will be crucial. Authorization Protocols: Apply your understanding of modern authorization protocols, including PKCE, to secure client-to-server communications effectively. You'll illustrate practical use cases and implementation strategies for these protocols. Run/Playbooks Development: Craft comprehensive Run/Playbooks in collaboration with the Security and Operations teams, detailing daily threat activities, handling specific alerts, and procedures for ingesting alerts from Elastic (ECE) into XSOAR. Security Enhancement: Assist in developing scenarios and tabletop exercises to prepare for various types of attacks, enhancing the response capabilities of support teams. This includes reviewing logs, investigating discrepancies, and generating trend reports. Essential Qualifications Proven ForgeRock 7.x Experience: Hands-on experience with ForgeRock 7.x in a live, enterprise-level environment is a must. Biometric Capabilities: A clear understanding of ForgeRock 7.x's biometric capabilities and how to integrate these with traditional authentication methods. Experience with ForgeRock's biometric solutions and the ability to link these to SMS, Voice, and Email MFA methods is required. PKCE Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) and its application within ForgeRock solutions, showcasing how to enhance security in modern web and mobile applications. Security Frameworks: Demonstrated ability to work within established security frameworks, with exposure to XSOAR/Cloud environments from a security perspective. CIDM & BIDM Principles: Understanding of CIDM and BIDM principles and their application within ForgeRock. Preferred Qualifications ForgeRock Certifications: ForgeRock certifications or training in version 7.x will give you a competitive edge.
