Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and courteous support to internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner. Operate electronic retail point-of-sale systems, manage boarding, baggage handling, reservations, and resolve related complaints and issues. Greet and assist customers in a considerate and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment. Process transactions, manage cash handling, and balance daily transactions, taking responsibility for any discrepancies. Inspect baggage and freight, answer phone calls, and provide information to customers, resolving issues and addressing concerns. Manage customer issues related to oversales, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve problems promptly and within company guidelines. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and other travel-related inquiries. Complete forms and reports as required by the organization, writing exception and complaint reports as necessary. Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. The ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet job requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people as part of a team. The capacity to work under stressful conditions, handling multiple tasks and priorities. Awareness of hazardous situations and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed. The ability to work under tight time constraints, achieving quick turns of aircraft. A well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Ground Operations Worker Handbook and Work Agreement. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information and instructions clearly. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous customer service experience in an aviation or related industry. Familiarity with airline operations, including ticketing, baggage handling, and reservations systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
