What To Expect: Job Responsibilities As a Continuity Program Manager, your primary responsibilities will include: Developing, Implementing, and Maintaining the Continuity Program: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive enterprise-wide Continuity Program that aligns with organizational objectives. Conducting Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments: Perform business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies. Managing Day-to-Day Continuity Activities: Oversee day-to-day continuity activities, update the Continuity Plan, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Leading the OIT Continuity Working Group: Lead the OIT Continuity Working Group and coordinate with teams on related initiatives to ensure a cohesive approach to continuity planning. Representing OIT in the Statewide Continuity Community: Represent OIT in the statewide continuity community, building collaborative relationships and staying up-to-date on best practices and industry trends. What Is Required: Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: Minimum of Five Years of Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in emergency management and/or continuity program design and implementation. Knowledge of NIMS and FEMA's Continuity Guidance Circular: Familiarity with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and FEMA's Continuity Guidance Circular. Policy Development and Implementation: Ability to develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines related to continuity planning. Training and Exercise Experience: Experience in conducting training and exercises related to continuity planning. Pre-Employment Background Checks and Potential Drug Testing: Must comply with pre-employment background checks and potential drug testing. How To Stand Out: Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous Experience with Municipal, State, or Federal Government Organizations: Previous experience working with municipal, state, or federal government organizations. Familiarity with State-Specific Regulations: Familiarity with state-specific regulations regarding Emergency Management and Continuity Planning. Program Management Experience and Relevant Certifications: Program management experience and relevant certifications, such as CBCI, CBCP, or EDRP. ITIL Certification: ITIL certification.
