Job Summary We're seeking an experienced full stack medical transcriptionist to join our team. As a medical transcriptionist with IMT, you'll play a critical role in transcribing complex medical reports, including IMEs and record reviews. Key Responsibilities Transcribe complex medical reports, including IMEs and record reviews, with high accuracy and attention to detail Populate data in report templates of varying complexity, using Microsoft Word's advanced formatting features Set up and format reports according to client specifications, using Word's higher-level formatting functions Research and apply medical terminology and concepts to ensure accurate transcription Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work, with minimal supervision Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project delivery Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in medical transcription, with a focus on IMEs and record reviews Proven track record of delivering high-quality work, with minimal errors and rework Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Word 2007 or later, with advanced formatting features Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines Strong research skills, with the ability to apply medical terminology and concepts Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based transcription platforms and web applications Knowledge of medical terminology and concepts, with a focus on IMEs and record reviews Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients and internal teams Skills and Competencies Exceptional grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills Advanced formatting skills, using Microsoft Word's higher-level formatting functions Strong research skills, with the ability to apply medical terminology and concepts Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients and internal teams Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At IMT, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary, with a rate of pay starting at 9 cents per line (65-character lines, including template and spaces), with annual increases of 1/2 cent per line, up to a maximum of 11 cents per line.
