As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Subscriber Tasks capability within the Data Analysis group, responsible for the valuation of subscriber adjusts across the Disney Streaming portfolio, including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+. Job Summary This exciting opportunity involves working closely with our upstream informing partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. You will be responsible for identifying subscribers impacted by incidents requiring timely and legal remediations, working intimately with incident management, Business Operations, and trade engineering to ensure the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when required. Key Responsibilities Manage data entry and document data requirements related to subscriber informing drives and episode remediation, ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required. Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine accurate companions of subscribers for informing and/or remediation. Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners. Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data. Manage project planning and schedules, and facilitate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events. Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of strong communication processes and operational playbooks. In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline. 2+ years of analytical experience. Proven ability to convey technical and/or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences. Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages. Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
