This is a full-time opportunity that requires a deep understanding of AWS native event-driven services, data engineering best practices, and proficiency in Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis. Key Responsibilities Design, create, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions. Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Optimize data pipelines for execution and cost, leveraging AWS services and best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements, applying knowledge to improve data engineering practices. Develop and implement personalization algorithms using Python and Pydantic models, enhancing customer experiences. Build and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases, ensuring data is properly structured and accessible. Utilize Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data, driving insights and decision-making. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: A four-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines. A solid understanding of AWS native event-driven services, including Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions. Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security, ensuring data is properly managed and protected. Proficiency in Python and serverless technologies, with a strong ability to develop scalable and efficient solutions. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with stakeholders to drive project success. Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL, as well as Amazon Kinesis, is highly desirable.
