Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. As a remote team member, you'll be responsible for answering inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, and more. Key Responsibilities: Answer inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide information and support on benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted) to ensure seamless communication. Participate in comprehensive training and adhere to production schedules (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday). Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with colleagues and management to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals. Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently from home. Must live within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD and be able to commute to the office when needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working remotely in a call center setting. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs. Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
