About the Role:As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for the Confluent sales team. This position lays the foundation for a successful high tech sales career. There is a clear career growth path within Confluent for the right candidate that is willing to learn, work hard, and succeed. What You Will Do:Work with top enterprise and commercial accounts in your assigned territoryQualify & convert inbound leads into opportunities for our sales teamsDirect prospect engagement through a multi-threaded approach that prioritizes calling, as well as utilizing email and LinkedIn communicationInitial prospect discovery and qualification before passing off to salesJoin a structured sales training program with clear milestones, and a career progression plan for strong performersWhat You Will Bring:0+ years experience; technical aptitude/curiosityBasic knowledge of SDR concepts, practices, procedures, and principlesPassion for Sales and the desire to grow and excelAbility to independently solve problemsExcellent written & verbal communication skillsHighly driven, intelligent, motivated and coachableCollaborative and team orientedReady to build what's next?
