About the Role As a Fitness Tester/ Lab Technician, you'll play a crucial role in conducting experiments, collecting test data, and validating results for upcoming innovative location features. You'll work closely with our development team to design and implement experimental protocols, operate various measurement systems, and report results in a timely manner. Your attention to detail, excellent debugging skills, and strong communication skills will be essential in driving success in this role. Key Responsibilities Conduct manual tests on iOS/tvOS/watchOS/macOS devices, report issues, and follow up to verify they are fixed. Implement experimental protocols operating with different measurement systems and report results in a timely manner. Design various Apple product testing environments in lab and optimize the process for efficiency. Verify that all safety inspections are conducted daily or as needed in the test lab. Maintain a state of order and cleanliness in the test lab. Minimum Qualifications We're looking for a highly technical and comprehensive individual with the following qualifications: Requires physical activities such as walking, running, and swimming for data collection in the field. Basic knowledge of programming. Excellent debugging skills and experience troubleshooting. Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers. Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while expertly driving multiple projects across many teams. Be able to work independently once the task is assigned and execute them to excellence. Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of related QA experience.
