Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Preparer to prepare income tax returns for our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of prior experience in preparing income tax returns, with the ability to effectively address and resolve tax notices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that their tax needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and comprehensive income tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations Effectively address and resolve tax notices, communicating with clients and relevant authorities as necessary Conduct thorough reviews of tax returns to ensure accuracy and completeness Provide exceptional client service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve the quality of tax returns and services provided to clients Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients Maintain accurate and detailed records of tax returns and client interactions Essential Qualifications At least 5 years of prior experience preparing income tax returns Enrolled agent preferred, but not required Experience with UltraTax required, with Sureprep preferred Ability to effectively address and resolve tax notices Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a public accounting firm or similar environment Strong technical skills, including proficiency in tax preparation software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skills and Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Strong technical skills, including proficiency in tax preparation software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FutureView CPA, we are committed to providing our team members with every opportunity to learn, grow, and stretch to the highest level of their ability and potential.
