Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Claims Agent to join our team on a full-time basis, working a night shift from 8pm to 4am, Sunday to Thursday, for 35 hours per week. As a Claims Agent, you will be responsible for receiving and managing customer claims, ensuring timely and effective solutions, and providing excellent customer service. You will work independently from home, with occasional visits to our Norwich office for training and team meetings. Key Responsibilities Receive and manage customer claims via phone and email, ensuring timely and effective solutions Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Manage and prioritize claims, ensuring accurate and efficient processing Liaise with internal teams, including the in-hours team, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims Escalate potential fraudulent claims and complaints through the appropriate channels Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements Contribute to and follow the firm's policy on Treating Customers Fairly Maintain professional competence by ensuring the department complies with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm Essential Qualifications and Skills Good basic English and Maths skills (at least GCSE grade C or equivalent) Proficient in MS Office Reliable and good timekeeping Ability to learn and competently use different IT systems Accuracy and attention to detail An organised approach and good time management skills Cooperative team player Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Confident with verbal and written communication skills Able to deliver good customer service Desirable Qualifications and Skills Ability to prioritise their own workload as well as that of others Ability to persuade and influence others Ability to problem solve and generate new ideas Excellent coaching and mentoring skills Thorough understanding of FCA regulations Experience of developing and implementing process change What We Offer We offer a competitive salary, excellent training and development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
