Your team focuses on : - Developing an AI-powered productivity assistant to enhance agent productivity - Creating intuitive and accessible conversation experiences- Implementing growth strategies to scale these services to numerous customersYou’ll collaborate closely with product managers, customer-facing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical execution. Your Responsibilities @ Aircall: Define the technical vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needsOversee software design and architecture to ensure scalable, maintainable, and reliable solutionsRecruit, onboard, mentor, and provide feedback to team members while building an inclusive and collaborative cultureCollaborate with product and customer-facing teams to understand needs and prioritize features based on impactManage timelines, priorities, and quality to ensure predictable and successful delivery of software releasesEnsure system reliability, availability, and performance through robust monitoring and alerting systemsWork with product, operations, and customer success teams to deliver holistic solutionsDrive initiatives to reduce technical debt, optimize processes, and improve team efficiencyUse customer feedback and analytics to guide product enhancements and iterative improvementsMeasure team performance (e.g., delivery velocity, uptime) and share updates with stakeholdersAdhere to security best practices and regulatory requirementsLeverage emerging technologies and tools to maintain a competitive edgeCommunicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, risks, and trade-offs Qualifications 5+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack development2+ years of experience managing a team of EngineersExpert level programming ability with Typescript/Javascript, Ruby, Python, or equivalent languagesProfessional experience in delivering software with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performanceExceptional understanding of software development practices, scalable system architecture, and cloud-based platformsFamiliarity with modern development tools, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutionsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issuesAbility to recruit, mentor, and retain engineering talent while fostering a collaborative, inclusive cultureExcellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teamsDemonstrated ability to balance short-term delivery goals with long-term technical investmentsComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities Would be a plus: 7+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack development5+ years of experience of deploying software to cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience delivering and maintaining large-scale, customer-facing products with high availability and performanceBackground in leading teams that work with microservices, APIs, and distributed systemsKnowledge of advanced monitoring, observability, and incident response practices for production environmentsFamiliarity with DevOps principles, infrastructure as code, and containerization Additional Information Aircall is constantly moving forward.
