As an ESPN NY Account Executive, you'll play a crucial role in developing long-term relationships with area businesses and creating customized marketing solutions that leverage the ESPN New York brand. The Role of an ESPN NY Account Executive As a Marketing Consultant with ESPN New York, your primary objective will be to develop and execute successful marketing strategies that meet the needs of local businesses. You'll be responsible for: Identifying and developing new account opportunities, including for Knicks and Rangers radio Building and maintaining relationships with area businesses and decision-makers Creating customized marketing solutions that showcase the complete portfolio of ESPN New York's assets, including audio, digital, and event assets Staying up-to-date on media and industry trends to continually educate yourself and provide innovative solutions Networking with local businesses to expand your sphere of influence in the market Uncovering marketing objectives and creating solutions to solve those objectives Selling at all levels, including C-Level positions Embracing the GKB core values: Listen, Be Honest, Work Hard, Over Deliver, Teamwork, and Follow Through Key Responsibilities As an ESPN NY Account Executive, you'll be expected to: Develop a thorough knowledge of the New York market, including local advertisers and existing relationships Utilize your sales experience and skills to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute marketing campaigns that meet client objectives Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients Stay current with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge Essential Qualifications To succeed as an ESPN NY Account Executive, you'll need: A minimum of 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in New York sports media sales Experience selling play-by-play sports Existing relationships with advertisers who target sports content A strong network and relationships within the New York community Goal-oriented and creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task A valid driver's license and willingness to meet partners at their locations Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with event sales and activation Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms What We Offer As an ESPN NY Account Executive with Good Karma Brands, you'll enjoy: A competitive salary, with an anticipated compensation range of $125,000+ Full benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, and dependent care Opportunities for salary growth and increase with skills and responsibilities A dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and learning The chance to work with a talented team and be part of a company that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At Good Karma Brands, we believe in empowering our teammates to continuously learn and grow.
