As Director, Business Insights (and AI Data), you will lead the transformation ofBiOptimizers' data ecosystem from raw information into strategic businessintelligence. This role combines advanced data science expertise with executive-levelstakeholder management to build scalable analytics infrastructure that drivesgrowth across B2C and B2B channels. You will architect data solutions, leadcross-functional analytics initiatives, and establish BiOptimizers as a data-drivenorganization through predictive modeling and strategic insights. Key ResponsibilitiesData Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive datamart architecture from our Snowflake data lake, organizing B2C and B2B dataflows from Dock platform and Gold Lantern analyticsStakeholder Leadership: Partner with executive leadership and departmentheads to translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and datasolutions Advanced Analytics: Develop predictive models, customer lifetime valuealgorithms, and data science solutions that drive strategic decision-makingacross the organizationPlatform Integration: Lead implementation and optimization of attributionplatforms (Triple Whale or Northbeam) to provide precise CAC analysis andunit economics trackingData Standardization: Establish and maintain comprehensive data dictionaryand standardization protocols across all business units and data sourcesVisualization & Reporting: Oversee Tableau implementation and advanceddashboard development for executive and operational reportingAI-Enhanced Analytics: Leverage AI capabilities within Snowflake, Tableau,and attribution platforms through effective prompt engineering andAI-assisted data analysis Data Governance & Security: Establish data governance frameworks andensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) for customerdata, implementing data security protocols and access controls across thedata ecosystemMarketing Attribution & Customer Journey: Build comprehensive customerjourney mapping and multi-touch attribution models to optimize marketingspend across channels, developing cohort analysis and customersegmentation models for personalized marketing strategiesOperational Analytics: Partner with operations teams to optimize inventoryforecasting, supply chain analytics, and demand planning while developingreal-time operational dashboards for order processing, fulfillment, andcustomer service metricsFinancial Analytics Integration: Collaborate with finance on revenuerecognition, subscription analytics, and financial forecasting models, buildingautomated financial reporting and variance analysis for executive leadership Experimentation Support: Serve as key stakeholder in A/B testing andexperimentation processes, providing statistical frameworks and analyticalsupport to drive data-driven decision making across the organization Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing businessintelligence team while establishing best practices for data governance andanalyticsCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance,operations, and product teams to identify opportunities for data-drivenoptimizationRequired Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or analyticsleadership roles Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and statistical modeling with proventrack record of building predictive models in business environments Extensive experience with modern data stack technologies includingSnowflake, Tableau, and cloud-based analytics platformsUnderstanding of AI-powered analytics tools and prompt engineeringtechniques for enhanced data analysis and automation Demonstrated success leading data architecture projects and implementingdata warehouse/lake solutionsExecutive-level communication skills with ability to translate complexanalytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience with e-commerce analytics, customer acquisition costoptimization, and unit economics analysisProven ability to build and lead analytics teams in fast-growing organizationsStrong project management skills with experience delivering complex,multi-stakeholder data initiativesPreferred QualificationsExperience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands and subscription commercemodelsFamiliarity with marketing attribution platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam, orsimilar)Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or relatedquantitative fieldExperience in health and wellness, supplements, or consumer productsindustryKnowledge of modern data orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)Experience with machine learning operations (MLOps) and model deploymentin production environmentsSoft SkillsStrategic thinking with ability to see both big picture data strategy anddetailed execution requirementsStrong leadership presence with ability to influence cross-functional teamswithout direct authorityExceptional problem-solving skills with bias toward data-driven solutionsCommitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative team cultureAdaptability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environment with changingprioritiesWork LocationThis is a fully remote position. BiOptimizers has a globally distributed team and supports flexible work arrangements across time zones. Company Hours & CollaborationWith team members across many countries and time zone differences of up to 16 hours, we’ve established a standard collaboration window from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. This is not a required work schedule, but a shared time frame for meetings and team syncs.
