Job Summary Ryder works behind the scenes providing technology-driven supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions to companies of all sizes from emerging retailers to some of the world's most known brands. Requirements: • A high school diploma or an equal qualification is typically mandatory for most basic employment roles • A spotless driving history and access to a private vehicle are prerequisites, with the expectation of spending around a quarter to half of the day traveling locally • Exhibiting a solid understanding of technical processes, such as utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, operating scanners proficiently, and entering orders accurately into a Warehouse Management System (WMS) • Able to manage lifting tasks of up to 50 pounds without aid • Applicants should be prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions Requirements: • Candidates are encouraged to have a high school diploma or a similar qualification • Experience in warehousing or operating industrial trucks for one year or longer is desirable • Officially certified for forklift operation with a valid license • Demonstrates strength in verbal and written communication aptitude • Having the capacity to be self-reliant or work collectively with others • Showing abilities as a team player and excelling in a multicultural work environment • Adept at cultivating and sustaining professional connections across various levels of the organization (coworkers, teams, customers, managers) and competent in working within a diverse work environment • Remarkably exhaustive and trustworthy • Demonstrating punctuality and a consistent attendance pattern is key • Works autonomously with little need for oversight • Exhibits a notable amount of drive and motivation • Maintains a high degree of accuracy, even in demanding circumstances • Competence in handling items up to 35 lbs by lifting or pushing/pulling • Skill to persist in a standing position for an extended period • Capability to operate while applying health and safety methodologies • Availability for diverse work schedules is a must for this role • Exhibiting a precision-focused approach alongside a commitment to thorough follow-through methods. Responsibilities: • Complete warehouse functions, such as loading, picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, operating forklifts, and performing inventory audits • Accomplishing tasks within the performance assessment framework established in the agreement • Tasked with accurately picking and packing items, auditing orders, introducing totes, staging products for transportation, and overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks • Responsible for the organization and processing of daily paperwork in a warehouse, which includes picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading • Supplying technical and maintenance help for different areas concerning the automated packaging system in the core shift hour of production • Adhering to the performance evaluation criteria outlined in the contract • Undertakes supplementary duties as directed.
