About the jobThe GTM Data Engineering team at Twilio supports stakeholders ranging from Sales Systems to Marketing. Our team provides a robust data foundation that allows business partners to build out sophisticated automations that power their verticals. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will architect and maintain data infrastructure that powers Twilio’s sales operations, connecting our GTM systems with our data lake and enabling data-driven decision making across our sales organization. You will be responsible for designing robust data pipeline infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between our sales platforms and analytics infrastructure. ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:Collaborate with other engineers, business partners, and data scientists to build best-in-class data infrastructure that meets evolving needsDesign and implement scalable data pipelines that integrate Salesforce and other sales systems data into our enterprise data lakeBuild automated solutions for sales data quality, enrichment, and standardizationCreate and maintain data models that power sales analytics, forecasting, and reporting systemsDesign and manage reverse ETL pipelines to power sales operations and marketing automationPartner with AI/ML engineers to develop Sales predictive and generative modelsArchitect solutions for real-time sales data synchronization and processingOptimize data flows between Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS Athena, and other enterprise systemsBuild robust monitoring and alerting systems for sales data pipelinesCollaborate with Sales Operations to automate manual processes and improve data accuracyCreate documentation and enable self-service capabilities for sales teamsQualifications Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Required:5+ years of experience in developing scalable data pipeline infrastructure, preferably for sales organizations Proven track record of delivering large-scale data projects and working with business partnersExperience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache SparkExperience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or DagsterExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and modern CI/CD pipelinesDesired:Experience with Salesforce data architecture and APIsExperience with Python, Go, or/and JavaExperience with data modeling (dbt) in a data warehouse (Snowflake)Experience on building large scale distributed systems in AWS or a similar cloud providerExperience with LLMs and/or other AI technologiesLocationThis role will be remote, based in ColombiaTravel We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other.
