As a Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with large-scale, high-dimensional data, applying statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform our business choices. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytical procedures, including data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning, to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions. Analyze client behavior, such as viewing patterns and preferences, to identify unmet client needs and untapped content opportunities. Predict content engagement to guide acquisition decisions and optimize our content launch and episode release strategy. Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention, providing data-driven insights to inform our marketing approaches. Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance, supporting both tactical and strategic decision-making. Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders, helping to drive the business forward with data-driven insights. Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization, leveraging verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning, as well as excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Specifically, we are looking for: A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in Data Analysis, with a proven track record of applying analytical techniques to drive business decisions. Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python programming languages. Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more. Demonstrated ability to work independently, applying creativity and analytical rigor to solve complex problems. Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
