Casual MTT Instructor

The position requires regular travel to various locations to conduct training classes. RESPONSIBILITIESProvides instruction for Firearms and Tactics courses utilizing prescribed curriculumUpdates course curriculum as directed by Senior Instructor and/or Management staffLead Instructs/Assistant Instructor for all Core Curriculum Courses and all Contracted CoursesTeaches customized training coursesConducts mobile training. To include multiple locations in the U. S. Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment, to include TASEREvaluates the abilities of individual participants to determine suitable corrective or remedial trainingMaintains overall safety and organization of the training environmentEnsures safety of students. Communicates and oversees compliance with company policy, procedures, and safety guidelinesEnsures accountability for all training equipmentIdentifies in a timely manner training requirements needed to maintain required certifications and company standards, and completes all required continuing education and refresher training programsCompletes any additional training and/or certifications required by the government or the contractOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSU. S. Although business work hours are usually 8:00 am to 5:00pm, there may be night and or weekend hours as required. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending. Travel is required.
