As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate closely with our executive team, marketing, and editorial departments to amplify our message and expand our donor base. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that encompasses quarterly giving campaigns, major gifts, grants, and other innovative approaches to secure the resources needed to drive our mission forward. Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing and new donors, including individuals and foundations, to build a loyal community of supporters who share our vision. Lead, mentor, and expand our development team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration that drives results. Oversee the planning and execution of all fundraising campaigns, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and budget forecasts, and making data-driven decisions to optimize performance. Provide regular progress reports to our executive team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth, and making recommendations for future development. The Ideal Candidate: A Proven Fundraising Leader with a Passion for Our Mission To succeed in this pivotal role, you will need a unique blend of experience, skills, and passion for our mission. Here's what we're looking for: Essential Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in the principles of fundraising and nonprofit management. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior fundraising role within a nonprofit organization, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing a donor base. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to set clear priorities, delegate effectively, and guide investment in people and systems to drive results. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people, including donors, stakeholders, and team members.
