Staff/Tech Lead Machine Learning EngineerYou’ll take ownership of designing and scaling impactful ML solutions that power Almedia’s products and growth. Types of problems you’ll be solving:Building a best-in-class recommendation systemMaximising player lifetime value (pLTV) in a complex business model using causal ML and sequence modellingDesigning and optimising reward schemes with Bayesian modelling, based on player behaviour and market shiftsYour role:Lead end-to-end delivery: build, deploy, and optimise ML models at scaleProvide technical leadership across ML projects, ensuring best practices and high-quality codeUnlock high-value opportunities by aligning ML capabilities with business prioritiesApply advanced statistical methods to ensure robustness and reliabilityPartner with product and engineering teams to translate business challenges into predictive solutionsYou have:Proven expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining ML models in production, ideally in adtech or high-scale environmentsDeep knowledge of statistics (A/B testing, regression, probability)Strong programming background in Python and SQL, with hands-on cloud experienceAbility to mentor and set technical direction for ML engineers and cross-functional peersStrong communication skills to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBonus points for:Passion for gaming and strong knowledge of player behaviourExperience with adtech, monetisation platforms, or gambling industryFamiliarity with gaming KPIs such as pLTV, retention, and ROASWhy Almedia?
