As a Digital Media Strategist - Paid Social, you will play a critical role in shaping Verizon's digital media landscape, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product roadmaps, enhance digital experiences, and stay ahead of emerging trends. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute innovative paid social media strategies and campaigns in collaboration with Verizon's marketing team to achieve brand and business objectives. Partner with media leaders across Brand, Business, Search, Programmatic, and Analytics to support activations and drive business growth. Oversee media planning, including audience targeting, ad formats, and bid management on social platforms across select units within Verizon Consumer Group. Keep internal leadership, media, and ad teams educated on emerging technologies and trends in paid social media. Support media technology colleagues in providing inputs to social platforms' roadmaps to drive differentiation in a competitive landscape. Collaborate with partner units within Verizon, including Operations, Experience, Technology, and CRM, to create improved digital experiences across all touchpoints. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Four or more years of relevant work experience in paid social media strategy and investment. Hands-on experience with primary buying platforms and formats, including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Experience in marketer/agency/consultative services in paid social media strategy and investment. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's degree. Six or more years of relevant experience in paid social media. Experience managing social budgets of at least $10 million. Fluency in data-driven targeting and reach strategy. Ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders and influence across divisions, departments, and teams. Experience with data-driven media technology, such as Liveramp, Adobe AAM, Epsilon, and Acxiom. Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display, Digital Video, Social Media, and various buying methodologies. Experience with ad verification and brand safety tools, including IAS, DoubleVerify, and Moat.
