Accounting SupervisorReports To: Director of Accounting and FinanceLocation: Remote (Candidates must live in CO, IL, MD, or VA)Compensation: $85,000–$100,000 Annual Salary + BenefitsAbout the RoleThe Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in public accounting, private equity-backed companies, and a passion for the behavioral healthcare industryKey ResponsibilitiesOversee month-end close processes and financial reporting. Manage the accounting and accounts payable teams. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements specific to healthcare and private equity-backed businesses. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Oversee annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting. Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets. Utilize ERP systems for accurate and efficient financial tracking. QualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA track or certification.3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting/private equity-backed or healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with ERP systems and financial software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
