Seeking to hire a Contractor based out of Mexico, Costa Rica, or Colombia for Renewal Specialist services. As a contractor, this role will work across Newsela’s Customer Success organization to help scale and streamline Newsela’s renewal operations for schools and small districts. Scope of Services:Maintain Book of BusinessOwn book of business, owning end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of school and small dstructs across approximately 500 accounts. Quote Generation AutomationYou’ll own and improve our automated quote generation workflows, helping ensure customers receive accurate quotes quickly. Own the renewal, expansion and risk mitigation experience for a defined set of accountsSupport and scale our quote generation process for schools and small districtsHelp evaluate and implement tools that enhance automation and price estimationCustomer Documentation CommunicationYou’ll ensure data integrity and a seamless customer experience throughout the renewal process. Maintain accurate subscription, contact, and quote information in various record systemsCommunicate with customers to confirm details, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues when neededComplete assigned Gainsight tasks and surveys on timeRenewal Program OptimizationYou’ll bring a critical eye to our renewal strategy and processes. Contribute ideas and feedback on how we can improve the customer renewal journeyIdentify ways to increase efficiency and reduce churnSupport cross-functional efforts to evolve renewal communications and documentationCross-Functional CollaborationYou’ll work with internal stakeholders across CS, Sales Optimization, and RevOps. Act as a key liaison between internal teams to ensure alignmentHelp pilot improvements and share insights from your work to shape broader processesSkills Experience:Fluent in English, both written and verbal6+ months of experience in a SaaS or EdTech environment in roles such as Sales Development Rep, Renewals Rep, or Business Development. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workExperience owning a book of business or managing account-based workflows preferredExperience with Salesforce.com and/or Gainsight preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working independently and collaborativelyHighly organized, process-oriented, and eager to improve how things get doneFluent in English and ability to work US HoursPlease note that given the nature of the contract, this role will not be eligible to participate in company-sponsored benefits.
