The Senior Director of Google Ads will play a pivotal role in shaping their online advertising strategy, managing daily operations, and nurturing a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive Google Ads strategies across multiple channels, including PMAX, YouTube, and Search, to drive conversion-centric ad expenditure. Lead and manage a remote team of performance marketers, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and development. Analyze data to inform insights, optimize performance, and enhance marketing strategies, leveraging a curiosity-driven approach to testing and learning. Manage and optimize a significant ad budget, with a minimum of $1M/month in conversion-centric ad expenditure across Google Ads. Collaborate with the Head of Acquisition to align Google Ads strategies with overall business objectives, driving growth and revenue. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you must possess: A minimum of 5 years of DTC media buying experience, with a proven track record of handling $1M+ monthly ad expenditure across Google Ads. A deep understanding of direct response marketing, particularly in regards to Video Sales Letters (VSL). Experience in online coaching or eLearning, preferably in the sports, health, or wellness sectors. A history of building and leading high-performing media buying teams. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and convert findings into actionable strategies. A passion for performance marketing, with a keen interest in sports and eLearning. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in managing Google Ads accounts for clients or products with similar characteristics. A proven track record of driving growth and revenue through innovative performance marketing strategies. Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
