Job Description: As a Packing Associate at Kohl's, you will be responsible for various tasks within the distribution center, including receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise. You will ensure that all products are handled efficiently and accurately, supporting the timely replenishment of store inventory and online orders. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities of Packing Associate: • Accept, handle, and process inbound shipments. • Store merchandise in designated positions within the warehouse for streamlined inventory management. • Fulfill orders by organizing, packing, and sending out shipments. • Maneuver pallet jacks and hand trucks as part of warehouse operations. • Conduct stock audits and ensure the accuracy of stock registers. • Safeguard warehouse operations by ensuring cleanliness, order, and hazard prevention. • Partner with colleagues to enhance productivity levels and ensure accuracy targets are achieved. Qualifications of Packing Associate: • Acquiring a high school diploma or an equal attestation of education. • Proficiency in moving parcels weighing up to 50 pounds. • Accurate scrutiny and meticulous attention. • Skill in foundational computer tasks and awareness of warehouse software systems. • Proficient in adapting to the demands of a fast-paced workplace. • Proficient in managing tasks systematically and optimizing time effectively.
