Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated and entrepreneurial spirit to join our Studio Research & Analytics team, supporting Disney+ Product, Marketing & Content Curation, and In-Home Marketing & Distribution organizations. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Disney+ Product teams, analyzing and synthesizing data to provide actionable insights and support quantitative and qualitative research projects for key partners. Your primary areas of responsibility will focus on Disney+ Product and Consumer Experience monitoring programs, combining disparate data sets using SQL, and partnering with other teams to conduct research and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including collection and training of data, extraction, and analysis of data from multiple sources to build summaries, tables, and report sections Combine disparate data sets using SQL to support the daily operations of the Disney+ customer experience monitoring program Partner with other teams to conduct research at Disney, communicating project goals, business needs, and timelines to effectively prioritize, innovate, and optimize our datasets Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts in the team and from other divisions of the company, as well as external vendors Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various organizations in the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney+ and the Disney Streaming Bundle Manage assigned projects, implement best guarantee processes, and report duties and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timeframe Work with the Sr. Manager and team to ensure that each outcome is strategically actionable and drives key decision-making Collaborate with the team and analytics organizations within Snowflake & Databricks Maintain up-to-date verbal and written knowledge of data points and requirements Respond to critical data requests from internal clients Support presentation of findings based on research performed and contribute to related business discussions Stay at the forefront of SVOD & In-Home business trends amidst a continuously evolving landscape Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and at least 3 years of applicable work experience. Alternatively, a Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field, and 1 year of applicable work experience will also be considered. You will need to demonstrate proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources, as well as strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in data processing tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight) Experience with survey tools (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Familiarity with R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side Experience with reading survey data to extract actionable insights Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
